Anyone have experience with or opinions on the Lansky Deluxe Diamond System? I am looking at getting this and the super sapphire 2000 grit hone, I'm sharpening 154CM and S110V for the most part and some Sandvik 14C28N

It will do fine with any steel, I have the yellow (1000 grit) ultra fine and the blue sapphire stones. Keep in mind, don't put too much pressure on the stones, they will take off more metal than the conventional stones with the same pressure applied. 14C28N is super easy to get a hair popping edge with the diamond stones. I always use a sharpie to mark the angle to ensure the apex of the blade is achieved. The Lansky does have some play on the slots for the different degrees of angles.

Awesome, will definitely be on the purchase list then, thanks :D

I have the medium and fine diamond hones as well as the yellow and blue ceramic hones. They are all awesome. I've used them to reprofile 154cm, elmax, etc. knives with no problems at all.
As said...go easy on the amount of pressure you put on the diamond hones or they can wear.
Good luck and keep us informed.
