Lansky Diamond or deluxe system?

Hi folks, newbie here. I have decided on the Lansky sharpening system, but which one? They offer a diamond system with 4 diamond hones, or a deluxe with 5 standard hones. I will be sharpening 1095, and eventually the stainless steels.

I think the Diamond system will remove material faster, so am I possibly looking for trouble going that route being a beginner?

By the way, i am totally new to sharpening, and knives for that matter. Been lurking here and at knifeforums for a while now, and I have been inspired to make my own knives. I have a folder that I am working on now (waiting for the scale material), and once that is complete, I am going to start a fixed blade project. Just a little background for ya.

Get the regular stones. The diamond grit falls off quickly and you will be left with stones as smooth as a babies behind.
