UPDATE: Since I confused Bob W & 22-rimfire by abbreviating Science Fiction and Fantasy (and changed it after they entered, I'm giving them both those 2 bonus entries. I also gave Ten4leader 7 entries even though he completely forgot to answer the main entry question.

After going thru carefully with all the bonuses, I have a total of 119 entries. I've put one entry on each line in a spreadsheet, now I'm going to do a trick (I googled) to randomize the rows in Excel. The reason I'm doing this is while random.org is random, it still tends to have a curve that goes more towards the center, meaning out of 1 thru 10, 1 and 10 would get drawn the least. So by randomizing the list once, and then using random.org I think I can get a pretty darn random draw.

I have a Lansky sharpening system Joe Parisi gave me out of the kindness of his heart, I didn't really use it and I since got a Edge Pro Apex. So I agreed, when I could, that I would hold a giveaway for the Lansky. I believe it is the non-diamond deluxe model. Used, but in good shape.

Just going to have some fun with the giveaway, going to run it for one week, I'll end it 4/14 at midnight eastern. Only open to members that have been here at least a month and have 5 or more posts and resides in the US, sorry everyone else. Unless there are complications, I'll announce/contact the winner on the 15th using random.org. Make sure BF lets you receive emails from other users so I can contact you. I will give you 3 days to respond or I draw again.

If you win and don't really use it, or do and have something else you don't need, please pay it forward and give it to someone that can use it.

Wow, what a great contest!

My favorite knife is the lowly Schrade Old Timer, the original USA-made Schrades. These were the standard pocketknife of American workers for two generations.

Thanks for the chance, I wouldn't mind testing out a lanskys on my smaller traditional knives.

My favorite knife is a Rough Rider Armor Hide Canoe. Funny how it beats out far nicer knives as my favorite, don't ask me why specifically it just "feels right" and is dang comfortable to use.

Awesome giveaway...I'm kinda new to knife collecting and think I need to learn to sharpen soon (just bought a spyderco sage 1 but it came pretty dull with a small/thin edge...it won't even cut paper)
