What is your opinion on this stone guys. I bought it for 25 bucks at sail. It's supposedly finer then the soft which must be very coarse because out of the box this stone is rough feeling. How many of you guys have tried or use this?

I have it. Even though it's hard, you still need to be careful in using it.

I had to fix mine because I dug the knife edge into the corners and scraped / chattered the side edges. I used a rougher stone to put a bevel on the side edges.
 
I just did that today, used it out of the box was way out of flat and extremely rough. Ran it over my DMT and it's a whole different stone now. Chamfered the edges as well. Now to see how it performs as it is much smoother.

I'll break it in and post back, since this thread has so much interest :p
