I have a lot of reviews of both. Does anyone have both, and if so which do you like better?
Thanks.

I have a Lansky Master Edge. Don’t own a Sharpmaker. Lansky is 17 and 20 per side, while Sharpmaker is 15 and 20. Lansky also has 25 degree slots. The SM fine is finer than the Lansky. That aside, I would think they would be about the same. SM has courser stones available. I have found some 220 grit rods that will fit the Lansky, but have not ordered them yet.
You could probably get by with either, but if I were to do it again I would probably go Sharpmaker.

I gave both a try ... and they are now in my list of thing I need to sell along with several duplicate knives ... if I ever get some pictures taken ... I just never got the hang of it I guess ...

I went back to water stones and ceramic honing rods and horse or boarhide strops ...

I have both.
For touch up.. A little dull..not cutting paper. Sharpmaker and strop.

Edge really buggard..big chips... reprofile.. lansky.

When traveling, Sharpmaker goes with me.
