Lansky Mini Crock Stick question

No expert here, but I'll take a crack at it. My guess would be it's something along the lines of either medium or fine. I think Lansky crock sticks are darker colored for medium and whiter colored for fine. That would put it in the neighborhood of plus or minus 800(medium)-1200(fine) grit. So, if they are white, I'd guess plus or minus 1200 fine grit, or somewhere around there.

This is my best guess based on what others have said about other crock stick or ceramic sharpeners.

I'm not sure about that one, but their trangle dogbone sharpeners that SMKW sells for around $2 are real close to the 204's medium rods.

They are real good for touchups away from home. I probably have 6-8 of them spread all around, desk, truck, wife's vehicle, shop, and bathroom. I give them to coworkers and friends to learn to maintain an edge after I sharpen something for them.

It is just sbout the only thing worth having from SMKW anymore.:(

What is the angle of these rods? I am contemplating about getting one to sharpen my Endura when away from benchstone...
