Lansky Plus Polish Tapes

A friend of mine showed me some results of some sharpening he did with his Lansky. I thought I would share this with everyone here.

He sharpened another friends pocket knife as normal with the Lansky. Then he put an Edge-Pro 6000 grit polish tape on his Lansky ultra fine hone. It really polished the blade edge up mirror shiney.

Those that use the Lansky or Gatco might want to invest in some of Edge-Pro's Polish Tapes. They work great!

How do you adhere them to the hone?

Do they have an adhesive?

When I had mine I would use 2 sided tape on wet/dry paper to polish up the edge. Worked really well.

edit: I would also use some of the 220 grit in the same way to reprofile the edge the first time, then work through the grits.
