Lansky Puck Sharpener

I've been thinking of getting one of these for use on hatchets, machetes and large knives.

How did it leave the edge?
 
It left a nice edge on it. I don't put a hair popping edge on my axes but it cut a few rags easily after I was done.
 
I have one in my pack for emergency sharpening. I like it. The puck shape is great for a pack since no squared edges make it difficult to break or chip if I drop it bang my pack around.
 
I think the puck sharpener would be a great all around sharpener if you could carry only one.

I carry a Fallkniven DC4 - and although it is not as safe as the Stone - it leaves a great edge on my knives and axes.
