lansky super sapphirw hone

Does anyone use it? If so, should it be used before or after the extra fine hone? Lansky instructions say it should be the final hone (with 2000 grit), but I feel it is rougher than the EF hone (which has 1000 grit) and the latter actually polishes better. Does anyone else feel the same?

Also, is 2000 grit the highest that lansky supplies? if so, I will have to follow up with another system (e.g., whetstones of higher grits) in order to achieve true mirror polished edges, correct?

I use it after the extra fine hone and I've found that works fine, however to get a better polish even quicker, I'd advise using the leather strop hone after using the super sapphire stone.
