Hi everyone! I got my first sebbie a few days ago, a Large Insingo inlayed with micarta. I love having a lanyard on the knife to help pull it out of the pocket, but the blade is so close fitting into the handle that it is eating the lanyard! Is anyone else having this problem? Is it only the insingo because of the shape of the tip?

yep it's normal

do this, with a lighter, bend the lanyard up (away form the blade) exposing the damaged part,"burn" the shredded part gently or burn the hairs that come out from the lanyard, by creating a small solid plastic part you solve the problem or at least limit the shredding
tha'ts how I've done it

even put a longer lanyard through the loop that's near the handle at the beginning of the knot

hope it helps and it's understandable

Thanks Maxx, that makes sense. Just wan't sure if this was worse because of my choice in blade shape?
