Lanyard hole

Why are the lanyard holes so small in the Delica and the Endura? There are probably more with small holes but those are the 2 that I have. I had to buy small paracord and I had a heck of a time pulling a store bought lanyard through my Endura.
 
Why are the holes different sizes.
IDK.


But as a solution.Heat up the end of the para cord and roll it thin
pull through.
 
I have no problem putting through 550 size paracord on my delica

I've heated the ends but never thought to roll the end to pull through. Thanks for the tip.

I've had no problems pulling full 7 strand 550 paracord through any of my spyderco's including the above mentioned. If the hole is very small cut the cord at a 45 or more severe angle then heat and roll.

I did heat and roll, worked fine. Just have a silver nut in the middle of some Cris Reeves snake knots. Later I'm going to get a Spyderco square, not sure if that is what they call it. Naturally I'm going to have to undo some of it as I'm going to get a deep pocket clip.
