While I realize the execution would be difficult, are there any knives that have the lanyard hole goes from top to bottom versus left to right?
In most cases my only use for a lanyard is a small loop into which I can insert my pinky finger in order to ectract the knife from the sheath and for added leverage. In the usual set-up the loop is facing the wrong direction, open from the back, not from the side.
I have an Orion K2 Caper that I tied a tight loop through the existing lanyard hole and then strung a small lanyard through that loop yielding a loop accessible from either side, much handier to use for my intended purpose.
Anyone else bothered by this or am I over thinking the whole thing?
