Lanyard ideas?

They make the BK2 a pretty decent chopper but I'd like to put something other than a plain vanilla 550 loop on her. What kind of nice looking lanyards are you guys using (adjustable would be nice)?

anything except 550 cord violates the warranty ;)

okay, so... yah... i just usually use a leather thong or 550 scrap with a slide up thingie, so that when not i use the ends can dngle and not get caught up on brush...
 
I'm not that crazy about them either, but a loop around the wrist and a two finger grip on the "ball" of the handle makes it a wicked little chopper. I may go leather and slidey or braid some 550. I'm rolling the change under the truck seat to pick up a Moose hide for it. Leather would look good with that.

I've tried lanyards, but I found them to be less desirable than I thought they would be.
 
I like a lanyard on a big knife / machete so that I can let go of the knife and do something else with my hands. This prevents me from setting my knife down, getting distracted and wandering off from my knife.

If you don't have ADD tendencies, this may not apply.

Chop Chop Chop... hey look at that weird bug... did I bring my headlight with me... maybe I can use that tree and that tree for my tarp... where's my knife?
