my benchmade 705bt should be here any day now and i was wondering. those lanyards on the butt of the knife. can i make one? it looks like the same princepal like wipping a rope.

and if i can … how?
 
Lanyards are also very useful with small back up type knives. They act like an extension of the handle and make them easier to hold on to. I made a long lanyard so I can carry my Cuda Maxx 7.0 concealed. Lots of good stuff online, here is one good site:

I never used to mess with lanyards until recently. They really help give you something to grab onto to pull your knife out of your pocket. Also if you make them look nice it can jazz up the knife to make it more interesting to sheeple. I like playing around with leather and beads after seeing some of the fobs some members here have made.
