What kind of lanyards do you have on your Emersons? I'm mainly interested in hand made ones. I want to put on on my CQC-13.

Thanks!

I personaly don't like lanyards/fobs on my folders at all and rarely use them even on fixed blades. That said I think the box stitch
and snake knot lanyards look the best. They are both really easy to do and can be done with two colours as well.

Made on my first try with these instructions:

I like lanyards on my outdoors knives as a handy means of carying some usefull paracord. For that purpose, I prefer the simple hangmans style knots. For my EDC knives, lanyards look nice, but tend to get tangled with everything in my pocket and when I remove my knife, the rest of the junk in my pocket is evacuated too.

I looked around last night and I came up with an idea to combine my two hobbies... Chainmaille and a Knife. I made a chainmaille and paracord lanyard. The rings are 18 gauge 5/32 inner diamater. It made a nice tight sheet of maille!

Thanks guys! I plan on adding a few more lanyards to some of my knives. The Super Commander is next. Black Paracord, a slightly different attachment, and I'm going to use a different weave i think. I'll figure it out. I'm considering a smaller ring size and putting the weave on a bias (where the rings aren't horizontal or vertical like in mine, but go at a slight angle, almost spiraled in this case) like:

Maybe even some colored rings. I'm trying to get back into mailling, too.
