So how many of you guys/gals use lanyards/tails on your INFI? What types? Where do you get them? I have heard some people use them on the bigger choppers for better grip while chopping. On smaller knives to help deploy their blade faster. How do you guys use yours? Feel free to toss pics into this thread. :)

I like how some of them look but am not sure I like the feel of them on a mid sized knife like my NO-E. And not sure how useful they would be. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I like to use them on the e-series, or any of the "thinner" knives for better grip -- through the rivets. It actually feels a lot more secure in hand... Occassionally I'll run my whole wrist through the actual lanyard part, but only if I'm over deep water

Tails or tags are made usually using the circle-stitch on boondoggleman. My lanyards are me fooling with the Cobra/KingCobra stitch on the 3rd link. I make a HUGE inside loop for it, only do about 1-1.5" of Cobra, then go back with King Cobra to finish it off. Then I have a nice large loop for my hand to fit in. And the knot keeps the lanyard DOWN when the knife is sheathed.

I'd show you pix, but I keep trading and/or selling knives that I've tied. Monkey's fist is fun, but much harder than the others. I don't like the lanyards I've made with it.

I wrapped my AS and gave it a tail so my pinky had something to grip.

I also have a Bria lanyard on the MS for extraction from the sheath. It's a BA-III K. Rowe, so the MS rides low and needed the lanyard.
