Lanyards!?

I saw a picture of a ZDP Leek with a brown leather lanyard attached and I think it looks GREAT! What do yall use for lanyards for your knives....where do you buy the materials...how do you do it etc...etc....? Id like some suggestions. Post pics too if you can !
