Lanyards

This is probably the wrong place to put this but I couldn't find the right place and you guys are very helpful so I figured I might as well put it here. Anyway. I just got a new Blur and want to put a nice looking lanyard on it. I've tried looking around for some how-to's or guides on different knots and braids but they all lack enough detail for me to really figure out.

So my question to you guys is, what's the best way to learn to make my own lanyards?
