Hey Guys,

I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable members have experience with Lapin puukkkos. Specfically, the Outdoor 90/Military Puukko. Seen here at Ragnar's.

I am really attracted to this knife. The question is does any of you have it? If so, how do you like it, general likes and dislikes. How comfortable is the handle for medium sized hands?
Was it ever confirmed that these are Lauri blades?
Thanks a ton!

God Bless

Thanks dude, I think I am dyslexic sometimes.
Btw, I did confirm that Lapin does use Lauri blades for this knife. Thanks.

This is a newer line on Ragnar's website. I'm not familiar with it nor have I read anything on BF about it. I saw them a little while ago and remember liking the looks of them for their clean lines and no nonsense utility appearance.

Generally speaking, Ragnar tends to select good quality pieces of work and prices them accordingly. For example, I thing Ragnar was one of the first to introduce wood jewel knives and given the handles I bet he could have introduced them at a significant mark-up. He didn't. So all in all, I generally put some trust in Ragnar to valuate products appropriately and he does have a great eye for quality.

Wish I could give a personal testimonial but I can't other than Ragnar and his shop are very well respected around these parts.

I dont have that knife, but I do have experience with lauri blades, so, if that is what they use, I really like them. my only problem with them is that they do have a small secondary bevel (very small) it can be sharpened out though.
