I scored a pretty sweet granite plate for SUPER cheap last week. It was re-surfaced last year so its pretty fresh. Anyway, i want to lap some micarta scales so that they fit more evenly along the knife, but im not sure what grit paper to use for micarta. The 600 i normally use wasnt really doing the trick. Any info would be helpful.
