Over the course of the last year, my laptop keyboard has seen its share of spills. From playing music on the coffee table at a party to living the dorm life, the keyboard is all in all, shot. Most every key works besides the enter key, but they all stick badly and with the sparese use its seeing lately, they are sticking real bad! In any case, the best price Ive found for a replacement keyboard was here, but I'm hoping somebody around here could suggest some other supplier options. I'm quite mechanically inclined, so I'm not overly worried about swapping it out.

Had to disassemble and clean a desktop keyboard once to clean out a sticky spill.
Kinda tedious but a simple fix as long as you don't mix up the parts...;)

i have used this to clean desktop keyboards, never tried it on a laptop keyboard but it should work if you can get the keyboard out. ok, ready... throw it in the dishwaher. if you dont have one find a friend who does. just let it air dry for atleast a day, 2 if you can wait. good as new.

Make sure the heat-dry cycle is off if you try that dishwasher method!

On laptop keyboards there are no springs or other bits of steel, so rust won't be an issue. But the ribbon connectors are fragile and could begine to warp if there's too much heat from the drying cycle in a dish washer.
