Laredo Bowie Thrower attempt

Ok, since it "appears" my post actually worked, here are the details:
- Steel used was re-purposed 3/16 inch spring steel from a panel door for some old farm equipment
- Blank was patterned after the CS Laredo Bowie, guard shape patterned from the CS GI Tanto
- Blank was cut with a plasma cutter, drilled with a concrete bit, cleaned and shaped with a flapper/grinder wheel
- Handle scales from a piece of 15 oz. saddle leather, with a simple lace embellishment, glued with rubber cement and tacked with harbor freight rivet kit.

It is not as lively as the Laredo, it is slightly more blade heavy, assumingly due to the simple grind not suited to cutting, but durability. Weight is very close to the original.

The sheath shown was made to complement my rendezvous ensemble, paying homage to the Arizona Rangers, whom I had the honor of serving with for a short time. It is constructed of all veggie tanned saddle leather, glued and stitched with a spanish weave to cover the thicker edges and coated with melted beeswax to harden and darken it.

It aint the purdiest, but its a solid thrower I am quite pleased with. Would love to hear feedback, questions, constructive comments on how to improve the next iterations.

Thanks,
Lockup
