Large 21 lanyard pin

Anyone know any tricks to getting the lanyard pin out without disassembly?

On newer 21’s, it slides right out. On older 21’s you have to take it apart because the pin has shoulders and will not come out any other way.

Other way around I believe. Older ones slide out...newer ones have shoulder.
Now I have to go check.

If I'm not mistaken, new 21 smalls come withe the shouldered pin, but on larges it will slide right out on the recent ones. I can't speak for older ones.

I believe that’s correct. I was thinking about the smalls

Old larges slide out. New larges are stepped. I believe Smalls were always stepped.

Taking it apart is pretty easy and if you do the lanyard can be maintained tied.
