Here are my latest linerlocks (# 35 and #36). The big one was made for a customer who has been waiting a long time. It took so long because he originally wanted a handle material that I don't usually have. To get it done, I offered to do it in carbon fiber instead. I think it looks nice. I hope he likes it. The blade is just over 4" and the handle is 5 1/4". CPM154 blade, Ti liners, carbon fiber scales, Ti pocket clip.

The smaller one has a blade just under 3 1/2", CPM154 blade, Ti liners, carbon fiber scales, Ti pocket clip. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

Guy, I'm glad you like it. I'll be doing the final touches today. I'll get back to you soon. Thanks.

That's another beauty Ray...........Absolutely gorgeous!

I took my folder that you made me and showed it to Des Horn who is one of the best folder makers anywhere. He liked it so much that he insisted on keeping it for a few days. He commented that it was a flawlessly made knife!

It has not been out of my pocket since I received it. I think I need another from you to keep it company.:o

Guy I look forward to seeing this one when it arrives bud.......Congrats:)

Steven

Good looking knife Ray.

The thing that I am amazed at are Ray's pictures; It must always be sunny in Cali.

Awesome Ray,

I cannot wait- that baby clip point is pretty- what a pair they are. Really excited about having it as an EDC. Have not carried a folder for a while, only fixed, as nothing really did it for me- But seeing your clean work sold me, I wanted one from the moment saw one.
Thank you Ray for making this happen.

Steven, We will hook up and create some pics of the folders hanging in Cape Town- I am looking forward to it.
Thank you Brother

Really nice work, Ray. I am curious. What grit do you sand the surface of your carbon fiber to? Or do you leave it untouched and just chamfer the edges so it is comfortable in the hand?

When I have used it in the past, I have liked it better leaving the factory surface and just chamferring the edges. It looks so nice with the original surface, but it can go real ugly on you if you start to contour it. It appears to have a lot of voids in it.

Thanks, Paul

Paul, with flat scales, I just wet sand the surface with 400 grit paper to get rid of the original shiny finish that comes with the material. There are no voids in the carbon fiber. I do the same thing with G10 and micarta when I leave it flat. Then I chamfer the edges. All finished to 400 grit.

Thanks Ray. It has been a while since I have sanded any. I will have to try it again soon. I was probably working with some early CF.

Ray,

Linerlock #35 finally arrived after Customs finished playing with it, I am speachless- It was so worth the wait.

Thank you for the suggestion, it really worked out for the better.

Tomorrow it begins duty as my EDC- cannot put it down it is so beautiful.

I would like to thank you for my Blade. By the way you conduct your business in an exemplary manner, and I am honored to have the privelage of owning one of your knives- I hope that you will let me be able to purchase more of your styles of knife in the future. Thank you again.

All the best,
Guy

Guy, thank you! Sorry you didn't get the handle material you originally wanted. I think the carbon fiber turned out really nice though. Enjoy the knife!
