Here is a pic of the large and small Inkosi in both black and natural micarta inlay.

Funny thing is the natural micarta handled Inkosi knives had a tag that said "not for sale".

I would prefer the inlays had less angles and were more straight like on the 21, but that is just my opinion.

I asked Tim Reeve if they are also bringing the natural micarta on the 21s and he said the discussion is still on the table... so I am hoping to see the natural on a small 21 soon.. would be really awesome...

Was just thinking and hoping for this very thing. These days I seem to favor the large 21s, but would take either.

What about a micarta Mnandi?!?!?!?! :D One step at a time I guess.

Damn...sad I missed this show. Only live like an hour away, but with new baby coming in a month I have too much work to do around the house and my reserves are pretty well spoken for [emoji38]

But damn those large inkosis look nice! Wish we had some photos of the lock bar side. I have gone back and forth about buying a 25, but I'm glad I held off because I much prefer the inlay pattern of the inkosi!

The natural canvas editions appear to have the micarta cut at 90 degrees compared to the black version. The fibers are "end cuts" versus the fibers running parallel to the surface.

The two natural canvas version I have are like the black ones showed here. So it appears my collection is only half-way done. Thanks for posting the pics.

Halfway?!? In your dreams, maybe! You've only just begun............. ;) :p

Clarification: Halfway with regards to Inkosi natural canvas. There is no half-way on the collection-- and you are living proof of that! My 30+ collection pales in comparison :(

In person the Natural was underwhelming, other then a new CRK variation. Looks like it will get a lot darker with use, (thought would be better closer to Coyote Brown may get there) The Inkosi were nice in Large, but in the Small I.,handle notches were too small to fit my hand, one point (closest to pivot) needs to be reduced/rounded.

Asked about Insingo blade for Inkosi, maybe they said, Damascus for Inkosi-> maybe? Was told they (CRK) going twds man made materials for inlays.
Also showed me some detail in the Pacific's micarta, a subtle new pattern in the surface created with a ball mill pattern. Somehow without Chris at the table, their offerings, and only a couple of young guys, was a little less then hoped for

I had a nice chat with Tim Reeve last Saturday at the show and was really glad to learn something new from him regarding the Inkosi. However, he also told me a troubling news about them discontinuing the serrations on their line-up. I am not a big fan of serrations, but I have to say that CRK has the best serrations I've seen.

I believe, they are still gonna take orders for them but will discontinue it by next year. Of course nothing is final until they announce it.

Couple of other points. Neither the small or the large inkosi knives on the table had the channel cut into the blade tang (lock face). When I asked about it their response is that they are still reviewing it and are trying to see if the benefit of the channel out ways the cost to machine it.

One of those "young guys" was Chris Reeve's son. He seemed very knowledgeable about their manufacturing process and it was a pleasant experience to speak with him and to purchase a knife from him.

My large natural will be here tomorrow. I did confirm that Damascus will be offered in the near future. As much as I liked my 25s, I feel the improvements on the Inkosi will be welcomed.
