Hey all,

I am thinking about putting together a 2 knife combo to carry when I go bowhunting and camping. The large knife would be used for camp stuff and chores that need a larger blade and a smaller knife would be for dressing game or fish. I would prefer to somehow connect the sheaths so they could be easily carried and accessed.
I've seen a couple examples of this especially with the Bark River knives that are amazing. Gorgeous knives, but out of my budget. A couple I have thought about is a Knives of Alaska pair, a Becker 15 and a Victorinox Ranger 58 in the pouch and maybe a Cold Steel Recon Scout and a MORA.

Has anyone else done this? If so, I'd like to hear and see your setup. Do you have any ideas on what would work well together in this system? What got me thinking about this was seeing a Youtube video of a Habilis Bush Tool with the Alpha Rigging. It has the large Habilis and a small Habilis and a few other necessities like a fire steel, stone, flat gut hook and so on. Really nice setup. Problem is that the whole kit would cost about $325, not cheap.

So I am thinking of lower cost options.

What do you think? How about posting pics of your gear??

Thanks for your time.

The Ka-Bar Becker 9 come with a sheath that has a slot for a smaller knife to fit in, and in front of that is an elastic pouch. The BK9 runs around $90.00, and you can pick up an Opinel for about $10.00 to put in the pouch.

the BK9 with a Buck 112/110 in the pouch is a tough combo to beat. I apologize for the lack of pics, but you get the idea

Here are a few Kydex rigs from MashedCat.

Can't post pics, but I use rtak 2, with small harpoon (cheap version of habilis) sharpened and wrapped in paracord, held onto sheath by ranger bands on back
