Large Bowie..

Hello all,

Here is a bowie I finished up a bit ago.. Lemme know what you think..

Forged 5160 blade, sharpened clip
12 3/8" blade, 6" handle, 18 3/8" Overall
Stainless Steel guard, Nickel-silver ferrule and pin
African Blackwood and Ironwood Handle
Custom Fit Leather

That is an awesome knife! That wicked long blade and that contoured handle just does it for me. :thumbup:

WOW!! That's an awsome knife Jarid. The blade shape and handle shape are perfect. The only thing I would have done differently is the guard, but that's just me. Great Job..

It feels great in the hand just like all my knives ;-) It is actually very light in the hand for the size.. The clip and distal taper help balance it out..

Beautiful knife, Jerid. You maintained proportions well and the handle geometry allows for the hand to support the balance and grip properly. Not easy to accomplish on a knife that large. Awesome hunk of wood. Kudos!

Hi, Jerid! I haven't been in Paltalk in several months. It's in one of its lulls. Maybe it'll pick up this winter? You can't get in unless an administrator has "opened" the room.
