Forged from 5160
Flat Ground
Hand sanded to 600 grit
Moose antler handle
Wrought iron fixtures forged from an old wagon wheel
Overall length: 14 1/2 inches
Blade: 9 1/4 inches
The incomplete sheath is hand sewn

I just love large Bowies and certianly this one. I always have a problem bending the "S" guard and not making a 90 degree bend. Any tips on how you did the nice rounded curves on your bends? I do use heat.

By far that's my favorite of yours that I've seen. :thumbup: I tend to like most of them but this is a clear winner.

Well Dan, not to clutter up the thread, I rounded off the jaws of a long nose plier, got the steel red and gave it a twist with my newly remodeled plier.
