I have been after Matt for a new knife for quite a while.

Here is a snap shot of what is brewing in his shop for me.
I can't remember if he said the blade was 11 or 12 inches.

Whoa Baby! Look at that hamon dance. I like the recurve blade shape. What are you having Matt use for the handle?

Sweet!! Killer hamon!
Shot in the dark, this one isn't gonna' be cord wrapped. :)

Love the hamon on that, I am lookin to get one of his knives in the future with that exact design....this just makes me want one more.

Custom cut oversized scales of stabilized spalted maple are on the way to Matt From Alfa Knife Supply.

They should look similar to this.

Right On Pete,Good choice on the handle material. That's going to end up being One Wicked Chopper. You can't go wrong when it comes to Matt's knives. That Hamon looks like it Glows in the dark.

Wicked, does it have a sharpened clip? I know cord is his mentor's preference but I think the wood is a good choice, congrats!

Hey, I know that blade! Thanks for the complients. Its fordged from 1095, 1/4+ stock, clip is not sharp.

That photo was taken just to show Mr. Gill the Hamon, its only at about 280 grit in that photo with a quick etch/polish.

Cant wait to get it all finished, I was going to put some nice Macassar Ebony for handles, but Mr. Gill didnt like the photos and is having some stabilized corn cobb sent to me for the handles.;)

Anyhoo... thanks again for the kind words.
