That is a cheap old "slimeline" waki machete. I bought it many years ago, reprofiled its edge, added a custom handle, and used the heck out of that thing for years to great effect! And loved it.... that is until I joined this forum, and found out that most of the knives that had been so fun and useful to me were actually useless mall-ninja crap! :D

Go figure! Now I can't chop a tree unless I'm useing $500 worth of SR101! :)


PS- lol at our names: flybri and bryfry, that's kinda funny.
 
wow... you did a great job with that one, bryfry. ditto on the junglas, of course, but i saw your pics of that one on the esee forums. and ya... i noticed the names too, although i forgot i was flybri on here (i'm kungfufyter on the esee forum).
 
My only large chopper is a Kershaw Outcast. I like the general size and shape of it, but I'll be damned if I can get anything resembling a sharp edge on it!
