Here is my xmas gift to myself. :)

It is the larger of the two. A large classic stainless raindrop damascus Sebanza with dual thumb lugs. Matches the smaller Sebanza I got a few months ago.

Thanks!

I'll have to try a picture without the flash. Without the flash the pattern shouldl come out better.

I wish I had a 'Rich" Santa to bring me any CRK lurking in the ole Santa-bag.
Carefull - I know from experience that I'm always the one to buy my best and most expensive gift to ME...actually, it's a great tradition.

Super-nice pair!

Absolutely beautiful!

IMO the Seb whether its plain or LE looks great with damascus.

Thank again, guys!

I've used the small one. It holds an edge well and so far isn't hard to sharpen. I stopped carrying it for a little while because I almost lost it. I was getting some equipment out of the truck at night and something I was picking up must have pulled on the lanyard. I found the knife unopened on the ground with a couple of tiny dings in the handle. Guess it is time to remove the lanyard. I got them to be users, but I don't think I'll be chopping any cement blocks with them. :)

My large classic basketweave Sebanza with the standard handles I've used quite a bit for small jobs around the house. It also holds an edge quite well and is easy to sharpen. The basketweave and raindrop damascus blades are listed as stainless. They seem easier to sharpen than my Sebenza with S30V. But, maybe I've not let the damascus blades go quite as long before touching up the edge.
