I do believe that Cocobolo was the direct successor of Bloodwood. So I thought some comparison pics might be interesting. There is a clear difference between Bloodwood (left) and Cocobolo (right), when it comes to the wood grain.

WOW. Beautiful knives. I love the wood inlayed knives, especially with Damascus blades.
