  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

born 2/07 so it's 2 years old, S30v. It had the pointy thumb-stud which I found annoying so I ground off the point, which means the top isn't blue anymore but it looks fine and it's MUCH more comfortable IMHO (stud is shiny but even - it's reflecting light in the pic). $300 shipped, USPS MO please.

edit - I do have box, paper & tool.

Can I get some pictures emailed to me please, specifically of the work on the thumbstud?

Also, do you still have the box, papers, & tool?

Thanks Much.

The battery on my camera died & I can't find the charger - as soon as I do I'll p[ost pics. Basically imagine the thunmbstud as a blue Devo hat, or wedding cake - now imagine that the top level of the cake use to be a cone, but I lopped off the top so now it's a low steel dome.

ok here are some pics at last, plus some more descriptive information:

it's got the usual handling marks on the handle & clip -- the finish isn't worn off but it's seen 2 years of wear.
Some of the bluing is worn off the sides of the thumb-stud, but is pretty much all there on the big back-spacer.
The blade is stonewashed, if you turn it in the light you can see some faint rub-marks but you have to look for them.
The action is smooth, and lock-up is 100% solid.
The blade is almost perfectly centered when closed, I'd say with the 48/52 range. The spine is clean.
It has been sharpened but the edge is not degraded/worn away, i.e. the profile has not changed.
The only issue is that the lock-bar travels about 70% across the tang when open, which CRK does not regard as a warranty issue since the lock-up remains totally reliable.
