It's 17. 15/16" overall and weighs 30 oz.
The blade is 1095 spring steel 12. 7/8" X 1. 7/8" X 1/4" thick.

Very nice work indeed. That's a lot of knife, some would say it's borderline sword material. Regardless I like it.
 
Thank you. I thought this one would have gone quickly but it's still
sitting for sale in the knifemakers fixed blades (even with a price drop).
Once they get off the 1st. page the views drop quick.
Starting it late on a Sunday didn't help.
I think I'll start a sub-forum in the makers section.

I like your knives and i like big knives but i have to ask what is that gap between the handle and the tang? I think it should be filled in or something.
It just does'nt look quite right to me in your pictures, but who am i to say. Anyway you do make one tough looking knife, congrats. :thumbup:
 
Got this knife and LOVE IT. It reminds me so much of something from the 1920's with a very no non-sense feel about it. I will be posting up a review soon when I have free time. Can't wait to work with it outside.
