Large Drop point

Large drop point, first concept was a all purpose fighter of the drop/spear point design. After having it around waiting to be sheathed, i think it would make a great skinner.
steel-forged,1080,differentually hardened.
guard - 1080
handle- Maple burl
OAL-11.5"
Blade- 6"

We shaved mild steel with it at the Smoky Mtn Bladesmith Symposium.No edge damage.

Blade finish was done with muratic acid,then 3 etchings of FC,with a hot vinager bath between etches.
