Thisone, inspired on my early Vespa design, was finished this week> It is made of 1/4" thick 5160 steel and has a satin finished, chisel ground 8 3/8" long blade. The handle is ray skin cord wrapped and resin soaked, with a rose jacarandá wood (nice blood color!) menuki with my gold dogs head signature in it.
It is very quick and "alive" in the hand and it reminds me a lot the first knives I used to make but feels much faster and more balanced, and looks a bit more elegant, too.
