Hey all, I know some of you carry a large folder (such as a AFCK or Police) for defense and carry a small folder (such as a BM 556 or Spyderco Delica) for general utilty. If I can ask (well I am), what method do you use to carry both of them? both cliped? one loose one clipped? One sheathed, one loose in the pocket etc.

I like the large blade/small blade combination for daily carry. I have a SAK Classic on both by sets of keys along with a Jester. I sometimes carry a Kiwi or Dragonfly in my pocket with a larger 3"-4" folder clipped to my right front pocket.

Depending on what job is at hand, I pretty well have things covered. Too many sheeple around and the smaller blades get used if they are up to the task.

The big knife is always there to back up it's little brothers.

I'm a lefty and I always carry my big one (X-ray vision or BM Ares) in my left front pocket (clipped). THose are my SD folders. I keep my utility one (Bob Lum Leaf or Spyderench) clipped to my right pocket and my spydercard in my wallet.

I'm also a "lefty", so I carry my SS SE Police model in my left front pocket, and my SS PE Delica in my right front pocket, (along with a SOG Deluxe Pocket PowerPlier horizontally on my belt [left-side], and a SOG CrossCut in my watch pocket.).

I carry the larger blade in my right rear pocket (clipped) and smaller blade in the right front pocket (clipped if it has a clip or loose if it doesn't).

So I keep my locking folder clipped to the right pocket and the slipjoint sitting on the bottom of the left pocket. The keys are in the bottom of the right pocket.

Same here.

I carry my police in the rightside waistband.

Typically have a slipjoint in right front.(Sak Soldier or a congress)

Then there is one clipped into left front pocket, or if it is a sebenza day in the slip sheath in the pocket. (Endure, or Ayoob, or Griptillian, or Harpy, or Salsa)

I am getting too many favorites to rotate.

:p

My primary folder is always clipped to my right front pocket. I carry my Surefire E2e in my left front pocket and my secondary knife goes in my back left pocket.

That way, I always have access to a knife, no matter what odd postion I'm in.

I usually carry a large/small combo package. Last week it was a EKI True Satin Super Commander in the Right front pocket and a Spyderco FRN Native in the Left front pocket.
Today was change out day. Strider GB RFP and a Camillus EDC in LFP. I have cut a slit in the bottom I all my jeans watch pockets and sometimes my small EDC rides there also.
Leatherman Wave and Small light of one sort or another in belt sheath always.
I think that the large/small knife combo is a great idea in and around groups of sheeple. I used to enjoy exciting the sheeple 20 yrs. ago. Now adays I feel it is smarter to go unnoticed and blend in. To dissapear in plain sight is an art that is good to learn.;) No need to scare people and draw the attention of LEO's who are forced to respond to reports made by scared citizens. Just my .02 worth.
