Large folder to mini folder question

I have 2 large BM Griptilian. The Ritter Grip (one of the best knives on the market and a main EDC) and a sheepsfoot Grip (which I'm going to sell). I wanted some smaller knives recently and among my purchases was a mini-Griptilian (standard BM, plain drop point). While I like the knife, I wish it was just a little bit bigger. I find the handle is a tad small.

I also have a large Manix which is one of my main loves. I can't say enough about this knife. For those that have one, I don't have to say anything. For those that don't, all I'll say it that you are missing out. I was wondering if I purchased the mini-Manix that I might not have the same problem I have with the mini-Grip. Has anyone with a large Manix bought the small one and if so, do you find that is feels too small (like I do the mini-Grip) or does it still feel like you have a something in your hand. The handle of the mini-Manix looks to be larger than the mini-Grip.

I would never part with my large Manix but sometimes I need to carry a smaller knife and it's hard for me to grab my Delica after using a large Manix. I want a small knife with some “heft” to it. Wondering if the mini-Manix still has that "large knife feel" that I don't get from the mini-Grip and most other small folders.

Thank for any info,
Gary

The mini manix is definitely not mini. It fills the hand every bit as good as the full size. Somewhere on here is a thread that has a comparison on graph paper of the two. the mini is identical to the large except for a slightly shorter blade, and about 1/2" or so bobbed off the back of the handle. You will love it, but it isn't really much smaller or lighter.

For the most part I like to carry larger folders. But I have decided on, what would be a mini folder for me, a 3.25" bladed Blackhawk Crucible. Like the mini Manix, if it can't be long and lean, then short and stout is the way to go!!
