This is another attempt at a Scagel-style hunter - a large one this time. I made it earlier this year (April'ish). Again, thanks a lot for looking! Specs as follows:
- 13 1/2" overall, 7 3/4" blade
- forged 5160, finished with a soft back draw
- 800 grit finish
- stacked leather, brass, copper, red and white fiber, and 1 piece of ebony handle
- elk crown pommel

You should stop using the word attempt. That is an awesome example of Scagelism (is Scagelism a word?).

3/16th's

If "Scagelism" was never a word, 3/16th's, it is now! Thanks for the compliments. Now if I can learn to put grinds on a blade like BigJohn put on that skinner, I might try a hand at stock removal:D
