There very good looking knives,I have the same knife with buffalo horn handles in 440c,I paid quite a bit more for mine $160,back before I got a computer
I havn't used mine much at all but the horn has a big chip (starting at the middle pin) and the fit and finish isn't what I'd expect at that price.I called them about the handle and fit and was told that horn was a natural material and could be expected to chip, and that if I wanted a perfectly asembled knife I should buy a custom,NO JOKE!I was looking at the knife awhile back and decided to email them,no response.
I seem to have bad luck when ordering german knives, and Im sure boker has some very pleased customers, but IMHO and in my experiance I would either buy form a store where I could handle the knife first or be prepared to return the knife for a replacement if it wasn't up to snuff.
I also have a henkel, made by boker I presume ,same patern with redbone handles and brass bolsters, which was much less and Im more happy with it's well made exept for a weak snap when closing,I believe BudK has them now for around $30.
I would like to here others opinions on them as well.As Im sure not everyone has had as bad of luck as me.
