Here's a shot of a large hunter I just finished. Forged 4 3/4" w2 blade, 416 ss guard and pin, claro walnut handle. This is a new handle design for me, it feels secure in a variety of grips. I will probably use it (or some variation of it) on all large hunters and camp knives. I've got two more knives I am finishing up right now, I'll post some more pics soon.

Here it is in my walnut stained hand

Here's a shot of it with the flash on...only way to see the grain of the handle

This knife looks very good. The handle shape looks like it would work really well. That claro walnut looks great.

Very nice looking hunter and the handle looks like it would lock the hand well. I always like a little extra blade.W2 is one steel I have yet to try, sure would like to.

Yep, that multi colored Village Photo logo sure looks good.

Can somebody please post the pic, so that all of us can see it?

Sorry guys :(. I ran out of bandwidth. I keep saying this but...I really need to find a good photo hosting site.

a local knifemaker does something like that with his handles too. You can have a short handle with that type of end where the palm can still grab it.
