Any thoughts out there regarding the lottery annual inlaid Large Inkosi. The 2K price tag seems steep. While I am a long time knife addict, I am relatively new to the CRK game. I reguarly see the annual sebs sell for around 1K, their price point on this annual is a bit shocking. I can only assume relates to the extremely limited run of 10. Anyone out there familiar with the quanity of runs on the old annual sebs?

The Sebenza 25 prototypes were $2500, so it's not unprecedented. With inflation accounted for, these are actually a lot less. Whether they are worth it is a personal choice, but I am thinking they would hold their value in the long term, but maybe not gain in value.

The limited edition small Inkosi was also $2500 back at SHOT so cheaper then that and less made of the large.

For a run of only 10, the price doesn't seem crazy. It is, however, tacky (blingy, if that's a word) and hideous, as is the Blade Show small Inkosi. I expect something classier and more understated from CRK.

Like this was classy and understated in the run of the first 30 small Inkosi...

The one thing that stands out to me about these as compared to other first editions is that they don't identify what they are like others do. It's just an inlay, and years from now people may not immediately know that they're the special ones. Not saying that's a bad thing, just different. I'm curious how that'll affect collectibility down the road.

Here's an inlay idea... Maybe in an annual??

I remember this from a few yrs ago. Really, why wouldnt CRK consider this inlay design!? It looks phenomenal! And yes, mammoth would look out of this world!!

This looks AWESOME. I'd definitely buy it in CF, wood, mammoth (in my dreams), micarta, etc. I don't dislike the design with the split inlays, but this fits MUCH better IMO. The knife looks busy as it is with the finger grooves and then gets even busier with the 2 split inlays. This single inlay looks great...doesn't compete with the double finger grooves but rather complements them nicely to bring the appearance of uniformity rather than chaos.
