Large Inkosi itch

I have developed a terrible itch for a Large Inkosi and I am afraid it must be scratched.

I have never had a CF version of any CRK from KnifeArt -- likes/dislikes?

Perhaps I should look for a gently used one instead and save a few dollars?

Or just tell me it is a terrible knife and not to waste my money

The Inkosi is a good knife that builds on it's predecessor, the Sebenza 25. I have several large and several small so my opinion is based on that experience.

I have a KA CF 25, which is close to a large Inkosi, but with the known changes to the clip, grind depth, and finger grooves. I prefer the plain Jane Inkosi or Micarta inlay to the CF scale. To me it loses some of the CRK mojo because the toughness of titanium gives way to a cool looking but not as durable composite. The minor weight delta means nothing to me for the large size folders-- when you get to that size, 1 oz is imperceptible when it's clipped to your pocket or other kit. And something about the asymmetry bugs me.

I'd look at the Micarta inlay versions (tan, black, red) or the really cool carbon fiber inlay from a blade shop headquartered in Utah.

It's a terrible knife and don't waste your money. :D

But seriously, the only thing negative I've ever read about the K.A. Carbon Fiber is that some of them are slightly off center and it is what it is. If you're anal about a blade being dead centered, don't get the K.A. Exclusive.
I've got a 25 and 21 with the cf slabs and both are centered. So, I've got no complaints. It may be a hit or miss.
You can always get a BladeHQ exclusive and get the cf inlay if you're set on carbon fiber.

Love the knife..do it. ..as much as I love the micarta, if I could go back..I would have held out for the BladeHQ CF inlayed, hadnt done my homework..Just gives me an excuse to own both..

You wont regret any large version.

I love my CF 25. It's a great knife super light but still feels good in hand.

The CF is pretty cool.

Not to get off track too badly here, but do the inlay versions offer slightly better ergos based on the slight addition to the overall width?

Yes- just about all of the CRK's with inlay will have a better grip due to the added width. Even compared to a Umnumzaan or Wilson Combat milled scale, the inlays have the ergo advantage.

When I bought my 25 there wasn't any inlay version in the future..well..we see how that panned out.i would definitely recommend the CF lg Inkosi, imho the feel of the inlay makes a world of difference 😆

Sweet CRK !!!!!!!
I like the plane slabs.

I would like to see a CF one in person before I buy one. I bought a CF version of the Manix 2 and while it looked great, I did not like the feel of it. I am sure the CF on a CRK is different but I didn't want to take the chance of getting one and not liking it.

So far, I am happy with my decision!
