Just picked up a new large inkosi. Everything was great until I added 3 drops of Slip 2000 to the washers. I didn't take the knife apart just added a couple drops with the needle oiler. Now I have terrible lock stick. Going to take apart and clean. Hopefully it goes away.

Anyone had the same problem?

Any oil on the lock mating surfaces is never a good idea. I'm pretty sure if you break her down and clean it all up properly it'll be back to normal.

One of my folders does the same thing if oil gets in the lockbar (can't remember which one--not one of my CRK's 'cuz I only use grease).

I'd love to hear if it's still present after the cleaning.

I've had lots of Sebbies, and a few Zaans, and never had a second of lock-stick. I do hope that excessive lube is your problem, so that you can eliminate it. I seldom have used any lube, as I'm a casual user, and the lube that's on there already will likely be good for a few yrs of my limited use.
The only time that I've used lube on my Sebenza was when I took it apart, just to take it apart and wonder at the meticulous manufacture of this great model.
