Does the stop pin screw need loctite on a large inkosi? I’ve tightened it down well and it keeps coming loose. Something I’m doing wrong?
Thanks

I put loctite on pretty much all of the load bearing structure of my Inkosi. I havent heard of the stop pin coming loose, but it I would hit it with some loctite and see if that helps. If not, a trip to CRK might be needed.

My inkosi came with loctite on the threads and I’ve since cleaned it off. You don’t need a ton but yes, you can apply it. A little goes a long way. Clean and ease your knife well, apply a line of loctite down one side of the pivot screw and put it together. Make sure the tension is how you like it and leave it overnight.

Edit: I failed to retain the fact that you said stop pin and my mind went to pivot. When you tighten your stop pin does the stop pin spin or actually tighten?

Check to make sure there’s no obstruction in the thread well preventing it from seating all the way. It should bind on the titanium to help it from backing out.

I’ve had an Inkosi that the stop pin would back out on, I used the CRK supplied loctite and it never happened again.
