I'm loving my first CRK. But I'm noticing that it's a Lil bit difficult to open using the thumb studs. Was this normal and will this issue subside when the knife breaks in. Any suggestions?

Try backing off the pivot tension.
Loosen it to the point that you'd be afraid of losing the pivot screw, then tighten it back up to where it barely seats on the Ti.
If you're afraid of losing the pivot screw, put a little Loctite on the threads to keep it in place.
If it's new, it will take a break in period for the knife to be smoother and a callous build up on your thumb.

Note they do come with Loctite from the factory, so if you crack it loose you will need to take the screw out, clean the threads, and reapply Loctite. With that in mind, try some different amounts of torque over a day or two so you know where to set it after applying the Loctite, which finalizes the adjustment.

My method for setting the pivot tension on a 25 or Zaan (Inkosi is the same, I'm sure) is to watch the blade centering as I tighten the pivot. As soon as it hits center, I stop and call it good. I may even back it off a tenth of a turn as well. I test the tension by opening an closing once or twice and let it sit for a few hours to allow the loctite to set up and cure. Works for me anyhow.
