This is one that I am sending out. It has a 11 3/4" forged, W-2 blade with a Hamon. The blade has a nice distal taper to it and feels very quick in the hand. The fittings are damascus and the handle is a caramel colored mammoth ivory with various shades of caramel and cremes running through it. The overall length on this one is 17". Unfortunately the pics are not as sharp as I would like. The hamon has a lot more activity than I was able to capture.

Long and lean and a beauty, love the activity I can see in the hamon. The new owner must be very proud. :D

Indeed, this is a good looking knife. I prefer more bevel to the clip, but this blade definitely has clean, sleek lines. A hamon is a particularly nice feature, and this looks great.

I love it. It's probably my favorite of your many fantastic bowies. The proportions look just right to me - which is particularly important on such a large blade. Super.

Thnaks Guys,

Here is a close up of the fittings. I think I will use a little more distinctive patten in the Damascus for the fittings next time so that it stands out a bit more. the guard is a low layer count straight laminate. The spacer is 352 layers of twist damscus.

After getting a better look at the guard and spacer, I must say that I am very impressed with the fit & finish on this knife.

Gotta' post on this stunner again. When I said "lean" in prior post I didn't mean I thought the blade wasn't wide enough.Don't know blade width but it may be the size of this huge Bowie that makes it look so "lean".I think it's perfect.Fit and finish are impeccable.
 Doug. :D

If I remember correctly the width on this one is close to 2". I have been playing around with the file work on my fittings and trying different ways of doing it. I kind of liked the look that this filework gave to the bowie.
