Recommendation? Large knife collection

Buy a gold or higher membership and yes this is a great place or /knifeswap on reddit.

Your other option if you don't want the hassle and do not know much about his knives, is to contact Arizona Custom Knives and have them sell them for you. They'll handle it all for I think 25% of what the individual knife sells for. More often than not, they can sell knives for a far higher price than here or reddit making their fee more palatable.

I am very sorry to hear of your husband's passing. This is a perfect place to sell knives. And to determine their value. As suggested, you will need the gold level membership, which could be worthwhile. Welcome and good luck!

So very sorry that your husband passed. I hope that his collection, which was surely a source of joy for him, does not become a major burden for you. As mentioned, this is a great place to sell knives although selling a large collection, either piecemeal or in bulk, may be a challenge anywhere you choose to go.

A good starting point may be to take pictures of the full collection and post them here to at least get an idea of the type and quality of knives you are dealing with. You will not be able to ask for value or post them for sale here without at least a gold level membership, but members here can at identify what you have and help you determine how best to sell them. If you do this, then I suggest you take photos of the knives in groups of 12 or so, making sure to capture both sides of the knives and focus on any identifying features like brands, names, or symbols on the blades or sheaths.

I am sorry for your loss. As mentioned you could sell them on here if you have a gold membership. Do you however have an idea of the value of the knives? Do you want to mess with photographing them and communicating with potential buyers? If you don't want to mess with it much there places like Arizona custom knives that will buy an entire collection from you, or sell yours on consignment.
