hi !

does somebody have any ideas for:

* a large knife
* with a thin handle
* under 75 $

i would prefer a usa made but all ideas are welcome ! ;)

thanx :eagerness: :eagerness:

Japan made cold steels are good. Check ebay . Not the thinnest but very lightweight. I own a x2 voyager and it's a beast.

As far as cold steel goes id look into the voyager,vaquero ,and rajah series of knives. The problem is some are now made in Taiwan If that matters to you. I don't own a Taiwan knife so I can't personally vouch for the quality. All of those knives come in large models 6"+. For a few more bucks I'd buy a spyderco military. Very slim and lightweight. 4 inch blade.

Spyderco Endura is in your price range and a great value.

yes i already thought about il and it is a possibility ... but i don't want to miss a knife which fit better to me so i'm waiting a maximum of possibilities :thumbup:

Kershaw Shallot is pretty thin and made in USA. Basically a large version of the leek. I've got one and I like it. The main reason I don't carry it more is for fear of breaking the tip though.

"You keep on using this symbol :rolleyes:...I do not think it means what you think it means."

The Cold Steel Code 4 has a very thin handle in comparison to its blade thickness. Don't know where this falls into your vague large blade requirement...
