Large Koster's for horizontal carry?

Hey all,

I am almost finished paying for my Koster Monster Nessie, and I have penciled in an horizontal carry black sheath for the knife. After thinking about it, I figured I should seek some advice from you all on carrying a larger knife horizontally, because I have never done it before and want to make sure it would work.

Do any of you carry a Monster Nessie or a different large Koster in an horizontal holster? What are your thoughts on this? How is it for deployment, re-sheating, etc? Does a large blade like this tend to get in the way when carried horizontally? I have other large knives that I do not particularly enjoy carrying vertically in the bush.

I have a kydex rig for my monster nessy which Dan made. It has a large teclock set up for horizontal carry, and it works well. I carry my Bushmaster the same way.

I am not very familiar with techlock, but can you alternate that between horizontal and vertical carry?

That's the charm of the Tek-Lok. It can do both and more.
Are you guys carrying horz on the front or behind the back?
